I scheduled an appointment with Maintenance Department immediately by myself. Meanwhile, I checked out any other users who have experienced similar issues like me on youtube and google. Actually lots of Honda CRV users have faced similar problems and experiences due to oil dilution problem on the 1.5L Honda CRV Turbo Engine.
At the end, the service department couldn't figure it any problems with the vehicle that i bought from this dealership two weeks ago. They just updated the software for me and believed the problem should be fixed.
However, after the checkup on 7/14/2023, we smelled gasoline again inside cabin while driving on streets AGAIN. In addition, the engine oil level is so high due to oil dilution I emailed to them and they just arranged another maintenance checkup for me. Of course, the sale department said they are not responsible to my Honda CRV.
The Maintenance Service said, "It is normal if you can smell gasoline in engine oil. It is normal if you can smell gasoline inside the car too". I am so frustrated and disappointed to buy Honda vehicle from this place. I have to drive this vehicle everyday with FEAR and smell gasoline with my children.
So helpless and frustrated.
