Short story here is, I purchased a Smith & Wesson X frame in 460 mag. nearly twelve months ago and had been searching for a quality, comfortable shoulder holster for myself on line, following recommendations and word of mouth to no avail. I discovered Horizon Country Leather through a local FFL not far from my home. After a call to Tawnya Scharbar, the sole owner, I learned the shop was in Rochester, WA. not more that one half hour from here. My first meeting with Tawnya at her shop was absolutely impressive to say the least. Having no “blue” model of my revolver, I left my stainless steel 460 as an example along with three examples of each feature I wanted in the finished product. Receiving a call several weeks later, I hastened to her shop for a final fitting. Like a fine tailor craftsman, she put the finishing touches on the holster. The price was in budget with my needs as well. Next day, putting on holster and inserting a loaded 8/38 barrel, weighing five pounds, I proceeded to wear this for ten hour throughout the day and I was totally impressed comfortable. My model has a lined holster with crossover straps that are fully adjustable to your summer or winter wear. This was crafted for my personal use a hunting rig but she can build whatever your imagination desires. Great, Great, Work.
