I discovered this place today on TikTok. It’s about 13 mins from where I live in Tacoma. I really wanted fish today and they did not disappoint. RUN don’t walk here. This is the easiest five stars I’ve given any establishment. You are greeted as soon as you walk in with a smiling face. It’s so clean inside. And the food!!! THE FOOD. I’m from the south (New Orleans) so I’m a tough critic. I’ve enjoyed 2 soul food restaurants here and I’ve been here 10 years. This list has jumped up in rank to number 1. I had the catfish and tripped-stuffed turkey leg. I typically only eat my only cooking but today was a long day and I just wasn’t in the mood. They can cook for me any day.

Without a single doubt, This is the most delicious Southern Cuisine I have tasted since I left Sweet Home Alabama!!! There is no comparison, PERIOD! Everything, (EVERYTHING !!!) Was absolutely Amazing !!! If you are looking for delicious, authentic Southern Cooking, This is where you will find it !! I am a decent Southern Cook myself.. I know good Southern Cooking!!! I guarantee... You will not find better !!!!

I didn't catch the young lady's name working the counter, however, she was a superstar!! She was extremely busy with many dine in and take out customers. She didn't miss a beat. It was my first time trying the food. Many restaurants pretend to know Soul Food, but the Hot 🔥 Fish House nailed it. I will definitely recommend and visit again. Five 🌟
