While walking through Capitol Hill with my cousins, we passed by this place and she recommended I try a slice of the pesto. BEST PIZZA I'VE EVER HAD!! So good that I was craving it again for days until finally I drove over 30 minutes just to get another slice of the pesto and I also tried the meat lovers. Best enjoyed right after you buy it, where the still warm melty cheese meets a crispy crust, and it's foldable just like NY-style pizza so you can eat it while walking through the city

I am genuinely confused why people rant and rave about Hot Mama's. It is unexceptionally good pizza. Nothing special/wrong about it, but at almost $5 a slice, I can't say I'm compelled to go back. I've gone twice now and both times it was forgettable. Things are too expensive in this city to settle for average, especially when there are similarly priced options that are more memorable. I feel like I can get pizza like this from a dozen places in Idaho, which is not known for its food scene.

Not from around here but was recommended to us from someone who also recently came to Seattle. Put in an online order, was a little late because we got lost but the pizza was still hot, gentleman who helped me was kind and quick to get me my order. Now the taste. I am so picky with my pizza. But this definitely gets a gold star from me. I can’t even put into words how good my pizza was. It was absolutely perfect! Even the next day after reheating it, it was amazing! Definitely a must have next time I come!
