Finding the hotel was easy. Check in was confusing. You have to cross the street into a different hotel to check in. Room was clean but had a weird smell. Walking distance to lots of stores, restaurants and bars. The free breakfast was minimal.

Overall experience on this place is terrible. The customer service seems like they don't like anyone who comes in to stay with them. The rooms were "updated" but are small, sad, and the AC doesn't work without a motion trigger. Have your AC and expect to come back into a cold room? Good luck! While looking doe things to do in the area, the only thing seemed to be meth, so not so stay friendly. Now I'm getting spam emails from them that I did not sign up for or agree to.

Hotel Lumberjack is owned by the Sonora Inn across the street which is where check in is. It's a converted motor lodge with some nicer furnishings but still has the same problems, such as the parking lot being right outside and hearing upstairs guests walking around.
Hotel is very conveniently located downtown and a short walk to a bunch of great restaurants.
The front desk agent was very friendly and helpful. The housekeeping was a little lacking though. The bathroom soaps and shampoos are all wall mounted but every bottle was completely empty.
