I was a little disappointed in this hotel. Please make the fact that each room does not have a bathroom much more obvious. Was a bit of a surprise. The room had a coffee maker but no pods. There was not an iron in the room. disappointing. Also no blow dryer. Again I brought my own but many people do not. The room was nice. The bed was comfortable. I liked being so close to front street and the waterfront. That was nice.

It was my fault, but I did not realize there was no bathroom in the room. The hotel has two communal showers and toilets for the 14 guest rooms. Can you imagine 28 people competing for use during full occupancy? It was worse than a youth hostel. The rooms were bare bones with a cot and a chair. The chair came in handy turning on the overhead air conditioner since the remote would not power it on. (The AC never removed the stuffiness. There’s no on-site personnel to help; you’re on your own.) They did provide a refrigerator and microwave. Why? Where were you supposed to eat your food? Picnic style on your cot? I paid a lot of money for location. It wasn’t worth it.

This is a lovely place to stay in a lovely town. Check-in was easy. The room was cozy and clean. I stayed in one of the smaller rooms and they made great use of the space. Shared bathrooms were always available and clean. Lots of restaurants and shops.
