Im sorry but me and my kid love it . But the fact that it was a "cat fish " pond was a total never return experiance . Most cat fish are going to be big and weight a good amount . And i just miss the trout pond they had in mt baldy when i was a kid. . Nothing wrong with the place . Or anything but no where in any article . Online or anything does it mention ita a cat fish pond . If i would of known i would.of when to just the normal lake and fished with my kid for the" whole day " for the same amount.. everyone i seen getting weights was in the same range as me . Around 60 bucks . And i only hooked 2 cat fish . Which i feel i was totally "cat fished "

I really wish on the website that it had said you have to pay $10/lb for every fish caught there is no catch and release. This isn't great for kids as advertised. Drove and hour to arrive and see a big sign that says no catch and release. Sorry but my 5 year old doesn't want $50 for a 5 pound fish.

Convenience and a darn near guaranteed catch comes with a price. Bring pliers to pull out the hooks. Big thanks to the operators for running this place. My kids had a great time.
