Tasty, vegan selections. Service was ok but not overly friendly. Considering we were one of 5 couples in the restaurant on a quiet Saturday at lunchtime I would have thought the waiter would have been more attentive to fill our drink glasses and check on us a couple of times during the meal but we had to wave him downqn. Overall, the service felt cold. The shepherds pie was good with a side "salad" of greens dressed with balsamic but no other vegetables. I probably would choose another Agoura restaurant if I were out that way again.

Love this place. Eat here all the time. The menu is like a book...it goes on and on. So many gluten free options (almost everything on the menu). You never have to get the same thing twice. The only thing I've ever gotten that I didn't like was the nachos. The tamales are out of this world. Almost always get those and plantains. Mmm. A little pricey but quality meets the price.

It was my first time eating at Hugo's. I love the architecture and the large windows. There are many menu choices, which I love, and the vegan-gluten-free options are great for those with dietary restrictions. My entree was tasty and fresh. I also tried the berry cobbler because I love cobblers and make them myself sometimes but I must say I didn't care much for their recipe, mostly because it's not very sweet and the addition of orange zest or peel is too pronounced--especially in conjunction with the lack of sweetness. I wouldn't order it again unless they changed the ingredients somewhat--definitely leave out the orange peel. Too strong. Lemon juice or lemon peel garnish might be a better substitute if they feel they have to have a citrus flavor.
