Would give zero stars if I could. I have called this place so many times and left messages and emails in regards to getting help for a neighbor who has cancer that needs to kennel his dog. I have not gotten any responses and it’s been over two weeks and I’ve been calling four times A week. I understand places are busy But how is anyone supposed to get help if they aren’t returning their phone calls? Also, went there to adopt a pet because I did a visit with the animal yesterday And instead of letting me adopt it, they said that two people wanted to do a visit with the animal yesterdaythat I was looking to adopt. And that once they made a decision because it was first come first serve basis then I would be able to adopt if they said no. Well, if it was first come first serve basis how come when I came yesterday and was there before them, I was not able to adopt before them because I came there first? Definitely would not recommend this Humane Society. They obviously need to get it together.

I am soooo happy that I found this place!!! To make a long story short, we have a new family member from here, who has made my home and my heart complete 😻! He went for his first vet visit last week, and Solomon (formerly Nigel at the shelter) received a clean bill of health. The vet said he was very well cared for, and said 'what stitches?' when I asked how his recovery was coming along, since he had been neutered just 4 days earlier. I want to say thank you to all the staff members who answered all the many questions and concerns I had. It is obvious they have so much love for animals. I HIGHLY recommend this place. They also have a pet store conveniently located within the facility right by the adoption desks...everything you need to bring a new cat or dog home can be found in there. The prices are competitive, and the selection is perfect! His absolute favorite toy (and he has an entire toy box now) is a fuzzy little blue mouse that I bought there. They also gave me a little crocheted blanket that fit in his newly purchased carrier beautifully during the adoption process so he could be comfortable on the car rides! THANK YOU! 💝

I was met with absolute kindness and compassion by every member on staff who had been charged with caring for my very sick Chihuahua. Sadly, my baby's life could not be saved but they did allow me to hold her in my arms as she breathed her last breath and even allowed my mother and I some time alone with her to collect ourselves after. The level of compassion that was shown for my loss and their kindness and understanding was genuine. Losing ones closest friend and companion of 12 years is awful, paralyzing almost. If they had not been so caring and validating of my hurt, my day would have gone very different. I am forever grateful and I know Clover is also.
