Great beautiful short hike! Covered in rocks so don't take lil ones unless you have a backpack for them to ride in. Lots of birds and tadpoles in water. Went at end of August no stream or waterfall. Just puddle. Can't wait to see it at its best next spring! Also wear jeans. I wore leggings and took out a whole garden of stickers stuck to them. Kinda overgrown. But gorgeous area.

Narrow canyon with mostly easy hiking besides a few rocky areas that may be hardround-trip to scale, few slippery sliding rock areas. If you make it to the end you are rewarded with beautiful meadows. Small stream traverses up the last 2/3 of the hike. Great views looking back towards Moses Coulee. Limited parking, paved road all the way coming from the south, 5 miles or so of dirt road coming from the north. Overall a great outing, lots of flowers this time of year. About 5 miles roundtrip.
