I have never left a bad review of any church I've been to and I travel a lot and have been to LOTS of churches. I've never walked out of a church until today.
A clip was shown of a missionary they support down on the Amazon. Missionary talked about how much the medical boat helped the people in the towns along the river as they have no other access to medical help.
The pastor talked of going there twice but they will not support the medical boat as he believes in healing directly through God.
Interesting...why? Because as all this went on I saw on the screen how to give money at least 4x...maybe 6x by the time I left. Ushers walked around with papers to hand you to explain venmo and other ways to give them money.
The pastor quoted the usual 'God loves a cheerful giver' and God will bless you many times over what you give.
Then, if you do not believe in helping medically, cause God will provide...why not trust God will provide for your ministry rather than several minutes of convincing people they are giving to God by giving to you?
1st time walking out of a church. 1st bad review.
