Always fun coming here and take a look at what they have. Even for interior design, it’s inspiring in terms of what would work and not. Today though I was interested in a few kitchen items and most of all small plants!!! I still may have to make a couple of trips to Lowe’s but for now I’ve got what I was sort of looking for. Caffea Arabica is new!
The escalator outside that usually takes you upstairs was out of service and they were working on it. Also, I noticed that there was a section on the 2nd floor where they were remodeling or something. A little noise of them working on it may be loud for some.
I found that one of the self-help kiosks was helpful when I was looking for spray bottles. For some reason I must’ve missed it, and I knew why I did when I located them using the kiosk. It was literally stuck in a corner barely seen. However, the kiosk doesn’t tell you what floor the Decoration department where they belonged to was. That was confusing. It’s not like everyone remembered what department longed to which floor. In that regard, Home the Depot app is more useful in terms of looking for items specifically there.
This is definitely not the IKEA of 20-25 years ago. Prices are just as bad as any other warehouse now. Extremely hard to find an employee, and this particular place was like a maze to get around and out of. You have to take an elevator up to get to the bottom floor, then you got to take the stairs to get to the top floor, it's just a ridiculous layout design to tire you and sap your energy. Lines are absolutely ridiculously long, like an airport. I didn't see anybody buying big item stuff though, this was all small items, most everybody is in the as is/clearance area. Don't know how anybody can afford these prices these days.
