Beware! Within in their contract it states they take 40 percent of all the money recouped. Which seems high, but the worst part is they will take their hourly fees out first. An example they give in their own contract states, if they recoup 20k from your spouse and their hourly fees were 15k, you split the remaining 5k 6:4 ratio. Think about it, they recover 17k and you get 3k. If you want to terminate their services you will have to pay them personally all the hourly fees or they can put a lien on your home. This firm isn’t out to help people, but to rather step on uneducated immigrants who need help and to take full advantage of them!

Immigration Support Advocates helped me a great deal. Specifically Greg McLawsen the managing attorney and founder of Immigration Support Advocates. Greg offered a free consultation to determine if they could help me with my case, to get the support I'm entitled to under the I-864. Originally it was scheduled for late July, which would have been okay. However Greg worked with me, to move it up to only a few days after I first called his office.

While waiting to speak with Greg I watched a webinar that Greg hosted, which I found extremely informative and useful. In fact I was encouraged by the webinar to inform my ex-spouse of her support obligation and attempt to open negotiations to see if an arrangement could be made.

Greg wasn't able to take me on as a client in my specific circumstances, never the less he was extremely helpful and kind. I would encourage anyone who has a possible issue related to a I-864 support claim to contact Greg and his firm. I was able to negotiate successfully with my ex, thanks to viewing the webinar and speaking with Greg. I'm most happy to write this review. Incase anyone is wondering, I'm not receiving any benefit from this. I'm simply grateful to Greg McLawsen and his team. Thank you very much Greg!
