I haven't been to the fountain since I was little. I took my 9 and 11 years old girls to the fountain the other day. I was a Monday around 12pm and it was not busy. I was able to find street parking on the NW side and a short walk inside to the fountain. There's a bathroom right by the fountain, and a large grassy area with full sun or shade. Bring blankets and towels and a picnic and enjoy the heck out of this area. It was hot, so my girls were having a blast in the water. It's heavily chlorinated, but I guess that's a good thing so it's clean. The park area itself was clean no garbage and safe. Lots of people out just enjoying themselves. I'm glad I got reminded how pleasant the experience was. We'll be back again in the sun.

Beautifully kept area with a very chill atmosphere. Nice to relax with some lunch or for some peace and quiet
