Walked in and had three employees stare at me the whole time i walked around, uncomfortable but alright. I saw a guitar strap i thought was nice and I asked one of my three spectators if i could try it on a bass, to see how it feels. The guy says no, I ask again in case he misheard me and he says no again. I was so dumbfounded and shocked by this answer that I just put it back and walked out. I will never make the mistake of setting foot there again in my life.

Customer service is overwhelming, pushy, and rude. They complained about just about anything I was doing. Also mislead and told me they had something in stock over the phone when in fact they did not have it. Just to get me in the store to try to buy something else I was not interested in. They also wouldnt let me take photos or video of anything. I will not ever be returning to this store.

As I'm moving away from being an Acoustic Guitar Player (I Have two Taylors!, but NO Electric Guitars?!) to Finding myself feeling embarrassed constantly borrowing my Dad, Brother's and/or numerous Guitar Buddies Nice Electric Guitars way too often, Not really liking the idea of Going to my local Guitar Center, or Sam Ash Music, I went on a friend's Suggestion to check out DTLA's (International House of Music) having a budget of $2,100 -$2,499 hoping to buy a decently good Hard Rock Style Electric Guitar, I really been liking (having Borrowed my Family's & Friends Charvel/Jackson's, ESP/LTD's, Schecter's & Kramer Guitar's!) and beyond that,I went interested in also purchasing a fairly Decent/Good Amplifier' and Multiple Effects Unit, liking the Boss Katana series Amplifier's and Boss GT1000CORE effects unit. Well I got there, and it seemed like the so called salesman not only didn't give me any options or variety other than a couple old fashioned Fender Guitars that were Priced Insanely High, like full RETAIL Price! Same with EVERYTHING ELSE I was Considering Buying that Day at International House of Music, was RIDICULOUSLY HIGH Full RETAIL Price's?? They 100% Payaso's! Not realizing I get the Sweetwater Catalogs, and go to GC and Sam Ash on occasion, and I absolutely know what things Cost generally in music instrument retail, also the Guitar and Amplifier' Effects Salesman Guy couldn't adequately Answer any of my Questions about since they're a FMIC Dealer, could I Order a Charvel? or Jackson Guitar?, ("I don't know"??) since Charvel & Jackson Brand's are owned by Fender, and he didn't seem to answer any of my additional Questions about the Boss Katana Amplifier's( seeing only the 1X12 Version in store, kinda interested, could I get the Boss 2X12 Katana Amplifier?') & or couple technical questions about the new GT1000Core MuliEffects I was interested in 👎🤔
