We enjoyed our visit very much. I love all things mermaid and brought my son along. He enjoyed the scavenger hunt and enjoyed the stories from around the world as well as items such as mermaid purse and mermaid comb. I was happy to see Mama Wati and Sedna but also with an exhibit dedicated to Madison, the mermaid from my childhood. The only reason I did not rate it a five is that there are four screens, with audio, in the space which was too much noise for a museum.

We went for the Mermaid festival and it was nice. They have a lot of old artifacts and stories and a lot of cool dressed up mannequins. We didn't buy anything since it was so expensive but the kids stuff was cool, they had a lot of different mermaid tails for the kids in all different colors. The best part was actually the grounds, they had sculptures and shaped bushes and plants decorating walking pathways all throughout that were a surprise to us and lovely to see.

Love ❤️ love this place ❤️. The museum is fun, the grounds are beautiful and creative ❤️ the food and wine are Devine! It's a must stop every trip to Westport
