We have been using IPS Controllers units for 7-8 years now and have them on 90% of the 150 commercial pools we service. These units are extremely reliable, the probes last a long time, & they are very easy to operate. Other units like Becys, Pool Warden, Hayward Cat 2000 systems do not work as well. They alert out way to often. If anyone says these units are not good, they do not know how an chemical controller is supposed to function. Clean the probes at regular intervals, maintain proper settings, and balance your Alk, Calcium & CYA and you will have few issues, if any with these units. In all the years we've been using them, we've had maybe 2 probes go bad within the warranty period of 1 year, and ZERO failures on the electronics. Highly recommend.
