Rough road to this trailhead but so worth it. Hike the high mountain meadows with views for days.

You will need four-wheel drive and high clearance to get to iron gate trailhead there is a primitive outhouse, hitching Post for horses, fire rings, picnic table, and a billboard with a map of the area. There is no water.
