Once off the pavement follow the semi-rough gravel road about 9 miles. Lots of dispersed camping along the way, a couple toilets, and an abandoned Camp Wahoo! Room for 9 or so cars, but you can park along the road further down where it's a bit wider. Today the trail was bare for the first mile, then snow continuously after 2 miles. Great views if you can avoid the clouds. This is an exposed hike so plan accordingly in the heat of summer.
