My family was excited to try out this new restaurant in Post Falls, as we really need a few more nice sit down places here! When we walked in we were greeted and told it would be a 10 minute wait, there were several open tables, but having worked in the restaurant industry before, I knew that there are several other factors to a “wait time” so no big deal. We took a seat and waited. Another party came in after us was also added to the waiting list. As we were waiting 2 or 3 other parties came in and went and sat in the bar area, which we were not even told was an option when we said “party of 3 for dinner”. After our 10 minute wait, the hostess called back, and seated the party that checked in after us, and then, when we asked why, the hostess was visibly irritated and told us that it was because they were a party of two and that was more manageable for the server…. Again, coming from the restaurant business, I can understand if we were a party of 5 or even 4, but there is really no difference from seating a party of 2 or 3 on a server. Then the hostess came back about 5 minutes later to “check in” and let us know the kitchen just got really back up all of the sudden, so it would be another 10-15 minute wait. Again, there were multiple open tables in the dining room, several parties still coming in to the bar and seating themselves, and we were the only party left in the waiting area. We decided to leave and take our business where we know we would receive good customer service .

First visit here, a short bike ride from our Post Falls home. The breakfast was amazing! The Eggs Benedict was perfect, house made hollandaise was spot on with just a hint of lemon! The poached eggs were cooked to perfection! The Veggie Breakfast Bowl was also delicious! We can't wait to come back for dinner! We are not golfers but this looks like a beautiful course!

We were seated right away but sat for quite awhile, maybe 25 minutes. Very nice, good energy server came over and said nobody knew who's table we were. Asked the server about the prime rib dinner and she said it was only served on Fridays....Well it was Friday ha ha. When asked how big the prime rib was she showed us with her hands and didn't know how many ounces. She didn't really know the menu very well. We ended up ordering the Dried out smoked chicken which was w thin dry chicken, mashed potatoes and microwaved green beans (1/5). The chicken sandwich seemed like a basic chicken patty with fries that were average (2/5) The Vegetarian pasta was very average sauce with basic pasta (2/5). Brussel Sprouts were very good (5/5). Cheese curds very average, came late and only decent because there was jalapeño (2/5) Cesar Salad (2.5/5) Fish and Chips very thin fish pieces and way too thick of overcooked breading (1/5). Unfortunate as we were really excited to try this place. The food did not match the atmosphere. We won't be back. The ingredients are obviously lower quality, there is only so much a chef can work with and not worth the high price. On a positive note there are a lot of beer choices and happy hour pricing on the beer is 20% off. We should have gone to Whitehouse like my wife wanted..
