Cozy, welcoming, neighborhood coffee shop. I always love visiting Irwin’s!!
There’s something so nostalgic about it ~ it seems like you’re walking into someone’s house with the half-open kitchen in the back, it always smells so good… and couches & dining tables in front, lots of people reading newspaper enjoying their coffee.
The owner is super nice and the coffee is always good! I tried one of their breakfast sandwiches this time, and their pastries are incredible, made friend in-house!! Definitely check them out.
I’ve been to Irwin’s a few times just for coffee and enjoyed it, but just went and got the Mac and cheese and it was so good! The marionberry balsamic on the side salad was also delicious.
The cafe has a great vibe inside (props to whoever was playing Fleet Foxes on repeat) and there’s some outdoor seating as well.
My go to neighborhood cafe. Feels very homely in here. Chicken pot pie is amazing. They also have a great selection of baked things.
Review from another visit (29Jan) : The mocha is amazing. The orange cranberry cake is the bomb. The staff is so joyful and cheerful. I love this place.
