For a waste refuse center this is the best one I have ever been to . It is clean and organized and doesn't smell nasty. They have different areas for different kind of waste which is nice. Lots of room so it is easy to unload and not much waiting. They also have an area where they sell used items and they have some real bargains. I purchased an old manual typewriter , which are becoming hard to find. Also bought an almost new fertilizer spreader for $5, what a deal.

My only complaint would be the amount of nails, screws and debris in the covered dumping area.I would suggest painting yellow box for vehicles to back into that you keep Swept clean. No body wants a flat tire on highway 20

The people that work here are awesome and helpful. The recycling area is really busy but if you're organized before you get there you can easily be in and out in minutes. The refuse side rarely has long lines. Before the pandemic you could find gems, like books and crab pots in the thrift stores.
