Quiet urban park with bathrooms, picnic tables, outdoor shower and loaner life vests for the kids. Perfect summer afternoon stop!

Additional note: in the winter the lower parking lot gates are locked and restrooms closed. Park website says October 1 through March 31. The upper parking lot by the community center is open and the trails and playgrounds can be accessed from there.

Gorgeous park, lake is clean and beautiful, with soft sand beach would be great swimming in summer. Dog friendly. Bathrooms decent. Lots of picnic tables, barbecue grills, there is also a large covered area for events.
