I love getting the vermicelli bowls from here. Tried the banh mi for the first time yesterday and I don’t know if it was just a fluke but it had the spiciest jalapeño? Ive ever eaten in my life on it and I was in physical pain after one bite and im not even that much of a baby when it comes to spice. But overall the service and atmosphere is casual and no frills in a good way and I’ll keep coming back.

Very tasty Pho and fried rice here! The fried rice could have looked better with some garnishing but I don’t really mind, as long as the food taste good. Very friendly service as well! Their menu have a variety of option for you too choose. Definitely coming back here to try other dishes.

Skip this place and go to the Gastropub nextdoor.

Pork was burnt. Spring rolls were burnt. Chicken wings were undercooked. 25% of my plate was just bean sprouts. Fish sauce way too sweet.

Owner didn’t care.

My wife and I have been going here for years through multiple names and owners. When it changed from Phobulous to Island Pho, I was initially pleasantly surprised at the change. The place has been on a steady decline as corners continue to be cut. I can forgive a food mistake here and there, but bad service is unforgivable.
