I ordered 2 Big Blue style (20 x 4.5 inch) water filter housings from IPW on Apr 17, 2019. I made the horrible mistake of not closely inspecting the order until today (May 31, 2019), past the 30 day magic period. The clear housing C908-BK1-PR was perfect. The blue housing B908-BK1 was used (the mounting holes were already threaded by screw insertion and the pressure relief valve was missing which left a hole for the inlet water to escape to the basement. I ordered the B908-BK1, which is NOT supposed to even have a place for a pressure relief valve -- go figure. When I called to present the problem to them, they chose to have me wait until they could go through the manufacturer's warranty process. Somehow they didn't seem to care about my business with them since 2012 and so they lost my business (I buy approx. $170 worth of filters each year). Over the years I have had only 1 order arrive that didn't need fixing but I was willing to overlook their incompetence and continue to buy from them. THAT ENDED TODAY! I bought the exact same housing from another company at a higher cost rather than continue to do business with this company. Caveat all you emptors out there!!!
