I have to drive one and half an hour to get to this store but it is well worth it. They have Halal meats which are a very rare find in smaller cities and towns. Other than Halal meats, they have frozen products, Turkish and Arabic coffee, cheese, sweets, Humus, Tahini, Dates and other special products at very reasonable prices. The shop owner and the salesman is very friendly.

I discovered Instanbul International Market this morning, when I was looking for a place to get my favorite two flavors of Turkish delight, rose and pistachio... which are not available at every local shop that sells Middle Eastern foods and ingredients! The owner is very friendly and helpful, he even gave us a mini tour of the store and even gave us each a free sample of lokum! This store is super clean, too! Loved the selection on the Turkish delight, and the ones I bought are delicious... one box of pistachio flavor, and one box of rose flavor. 😋 Both Akkent brand. People from any country are welcome at this store... I'm an American that loves locally owned international markets, and I definitely want to shop here again! There are all kinds of great things you can buy there, way more than just candy! :) You have to go there and see for yourself!

Sadly they no longer carry the great selection of Turkish delight. Last time they had a bulk collection of different types. Now only one kind of the ore packaged type, which you can find at other stores.
