So my story started with finding out the product I purchased online wasn't going to be available for some time. Luz was very kind and asked if I thought I could use a little different light, I said sure and we made that happen. The light arrived and for some reason the parts were supposed to screw together wouldn't stay together so Luz asked me to mail it back to the manufacturer, on her dime, to have them check it out. While that was in process it was decided, by my wife (the one who would be using the light the most at the bbq) that the original sized light was necessary. So I contacted Luz again and asked if we could make the change. She was more than happy to make it happen. Did I have to pay the difference, of course. Was there some shipping cost on my end, yes. Here is the thing though, Luz worked with me to help me get what my wife wants. It's a custom light that they didn't have to take back so I was happy when Luz said they would.
In today's world where everyone expects to not pay a fair price for service it's rare to find a kind and truly engaged person who'll do what it takes to help out. Sure, I'm going to have to wait a little while for the light that I need, but everything is like that right now and who knows when it'll change. I know when it does arrive that It's Thyme will take care of me if necessary. Thanks Luz for helping me out.
