J Stout is the worst auction house to go with. I bought a Chevy Express from them. When I got to the office to buy my van, it had a bad battery which would later leave me stranded and more importantly it had 2 missing catalytic converters that were cut off. None of these things were listed in the description. I went to go talk with them in the office and they promised me that they would make things right at a later date because no one was in the office who could do so on a Friday afternoon. So I took the van home and tried to call them the following Monday. Brandon, one of the managers called me and said that I should’ve came to look at it on the preview days and that it was my fault and they would not anything about it. They lied to me and blamed the whole thing on me and now I’m $4000 in the hole. Do not ever buy from this auction house!!!

Good auction process and service. On-Site staff in Washougal is friendly and helpful. Picked up from here a couple times and had a good experience. Get into the Auction game!!

I purchased a 2010 explorer from j stout auctions with 108k miles on it and the title says 111k 5 years ago. I spoke to Pam the tyrant in the office and she has just lied to every regulatory agency I have talk with so far . I filled out the attorney general’s arbitration and the consignor Tapani inc filed a response , it seems they replaced the odometer head to allegedly fix a problem, non declaration of this is a crime for you and I is a crime however corporations are just fined monetarily. When they filed their response they inadvertently filed the obd2 record on the rig that plainly shows odometer grooming/tampering with miles adjusted several times in violation of federal law . There defense with the AGs office in part was there violation of federal law cheese ball auction contract that states they are not responsible for miles in contradiction to federal law , I beg to differ but here we are almost 2 mo later with a car I can’t drive , license or sell due to federal laws to preserve the evidence. To this point stout has not done one thing or made any effort to rectify this, the only thing that has happened so far is lies and deception
