We wanted to give this place a go after seeing the awesome reviews. We stopped by tonight looking for dinner takeout. We ordered the shrimp and scallop pasta, the shrimp Diablo and got a piece of cheesecake and tiramisu. Spent $89 on all of our food. We were the only ones in the restaurant while we waited. The waitress/hostess was super nice and helpful. But once we got home to eat, we simply couldn’t make it through our first bites. Scallops weren’t cooked and it’s as if the shrimp Diablo were just tossed in salsa they had made earlier in the day. Our $8 piece of cheesecake was so tiny. Really not worth the $89 we ended up spending. We wanted to love this place based on reviews and maybe breakfast is where it’s at, dinner is not.

Lovely family owned and operated business. Great food, great prices, clean and pretty atmosphere. I go here quite often because on top of the yummy food I enjoy talking to the waitresses.

Just up from Los Angeles, my wife and I had a great meal at Jakobe's this morning. Yesenia, our waitress, reviewed the menu with us and made sure that everything was cooked to perfection. My sausage and eggs were prepared just the way that I like them, and my wife, who was born and raised south of the border, raved about Jakobe’s Mexican Omelet. Along with great food, we appreciated the friendly and welcoming service provided by Yesenia. For anyone looking for a top-quality breakfast, Jakobe’s is the place to go!
