The family said they wanted burgers. Not the sad wimpy kind that you can get in a drive thru, but the thick & juicy kind. So we went to Jak's.

Why Jak's? Because their burger is outstanding, and they're reasonably close to Bellevue. And they also have a prime rib dip which is what I went for.

But isn't Jak's expensive? If you look at other places in Issaquah & Bellevue that have comparable burger, you will find that the prices are all within +- $2 range of each other.

But don't you have to wait for a long time for a table? Yes, that is the negative. If this were just me & my partner on a date then its no problem because we'll have a drink. But when the kid is also there then admittedly the wait is less fun.

All said, Jak's did deliver. We got our burgers. Everyone was happy.
