They brew their own chai here for the chai lattes, and it tastes fresh and herbal. I loved it, but if you’re used to the sweet syrup or powder chais served at most coffee shops you should know that this will taste like actual tea. Also! They decorated it with latte art, which I enjoyed because so often chai lattes are kind of an afterthought at a coffee place. I love places that take as much care with their teas as they do with their coffees.
Stopped by this place en route to the IE, because it’s convenient to an off- and on-ramp along the 210. In addition to my chai, I got a day old chocolate chip scone. Perfect pairing! The scone was nice and soft and buttery but not overly sweet either. I’ll definitely be back if I’m in the neighborhood again!
My friend introduced me to this spot and we were in the neighborhood.
I had their coconut breve. It was a solid coffee, excellent flavor, perfect temperature and it was delicious.
I’d definitely come back here again to try their other menu items. The place was busy with all seats taken and it felt like a great community vibe.
