The place is in a cool location and the facilities are nice; pool, rec room, ect.

However,…….. The staff was not pleasant to work with. They have keypads on EVERYTHING, all with their own individual codes. They said,” you don’t need a shower card do you, since you have one in your camper?” We personally like to take them in the parks unless they are nasty, but it’s a good thing we got the card because we wouldn’t have been able to get into anything other than laundry without the card. And the internet only lets you get two devices online. And it’s a three step process that requires an authentication code to create an account to them log in and if you want to use a third device you have to log one out then find your MAC address for the new device and THEN you can get on the internet. It literally took over 10 minutes to get the computer on the internet so I could watch a movie with my wife on the computer. My wife said, “Good job babe, persistence pays off.” To have to be persistent about getting onto the internet is a bit much. It’s like they intentionally make everything challenging to do here.

Oh where to start? This place has a really appealing name: Jantzen Beach RV Resort. That’s where the appeal ends. We stayed one night as a midpoint stop, and I am glad it was just for one night. The airplane noise is no joke, but the “clientele” is also a little questionable. Suffice to say it’s the first time we took everything out of the truck bed that could be taken and locked it up for the night. There was a small patch of uneven grass for the dogs to do their business and the first thing I noticed was white “pretrified” dog poop (iykyk) that clearly had been there for months! Ugh! Looks like their primary method of “landscaping” is to throw bark over things. There is nothing “resort” about this place. Appears to be many full-timers with pretty dated rigs. I read somewhere that the long-term rates are really favorable. Not so for a one night pull through: $99. Yikes, and no thank you. Definite hard pass.

Horrid little spot. Don't stay here if you can avoid it. Completely ghetto collection of single-wide mobiles and long-term resident campers. We arrived after 5 and the office was closed. They have the bathrooms locked up with card-key access and if you arrive after 5, too bad. No bathroom for you. No park host available. Why not put the card key in with the late check-in docs you left for us? Bright spotlight type street lighting has the place lit like a Walmart parking lot. Right under the airport flight path. This is the worst place I've ever camped.
