Some people call him Dr. Kei. I call him Kurotani Sensei (sen-say). He's both a superb Japanese Accupuncturist and a martial arts practitioner. I have scheduled visit with Kurotani sensei. He is attentive, enthusiastic and light hearted. He is personable with his patients and just does not treat you like another "number."
I'll share one of my earlier visits. I complained to him about my neck/shoulder stiffness and I was experiencing spasms. An hour after treatment, I noticed that the neck stiffness subsided and regained mobility. The spasms went away.
So if you're looking for an accupuncturist, consider Japanese style accupuncture. One of the key differences between Chinese and Japanese accupuncture is the size of the needle. The needles are small in sizes. Great for me for someone who does not like needles.
