I have to admit, I wasn't 100% satisfied w/ the food I ordered today :( Yo soy un Chicana: American-Mexican& I have had my share of Mexican cuisine. Both homemade AND restaurant flavors....and unfortunately the food I ordered from Jayli's Cocina, HAD NO AUTHENTIC FLAVOR or ANY Flavor. It was very bland, very bland indeed! I ordered el plato de enchilada verde. I was going to order rojo, but I have acid reflux. Hungry&late for work, I clocked in, sat@my desk&grubbed. I took a taste bite of all that was served:Enchiladas Pollo, arroz&frijoles. I am not a big salt user, but the beans&enchiladas needed some. I feel that the enchiladas should have a more salsa & the chicken, altho tender&cooked, it was still pinkish. I called in my order& the gentleman who answered, spoke w/ a sexy accent& was professional polite. The female @ the register had awesome customer service skills! So, bcuz of them, I will give them 1 more try. I don't mean to make this a negative post, bcuz the customer service was superb. I am hoping that the chefs would take my critic w/ understanding& Cook todo la comida con AMOR de AUTHENTICO SABOR MEXICANO!! Thank you! Spanish IS NOT my 1st language.
