My experience spans over 6 months. I took my son in for his 6 month pictures and decided to have my other two join in at the end. Our photographer was inexperienced and he was the only photographer in at 4:30pm. He was not comfortable with poses and how to situate the kids. pictures were horrible.
I made a complaint to a temp manager named Linda or Tina and she agreed to redo our pictures and since I had a $50 gift card, I agree to have her do them personally. She was awesome, but they were behind schedule 40 minutes and my son got restless and cried during his shoot. We got a couple photos, but not like we normally do. So both times I was not happy. Upon our departure, I asked if we could request a particular photographer to take our photos, I was told yes.
I called today 9/8 to schedule 1 year pictures as we live in a small town and JC Penny is the only place that does pictures since sears closed (sears was my go to place and always had great customer service and photographers). I called and Amber or Amanda answered. I asked to schedule an appointment with the photographer that I know does great pictures. She said that she cannot do that. That she cannot give out the photographer schedule. They cannot guarantee a photographer and all of this is simply not true or she's changing the rule. We should be able to request a photographer so we are not waiting time and money on on pictures that do no come out right.
I hate to use them, but they are the only studio in my area.
