Although kind and friendly, she was disappointing in her skills in pediatry: Failed in a proper circumcision, also failed in a proper diagnosis of my son.

Dr Jeanne Gallagher is easily 10 stars. She is the best, most knowledgeable Pediatrician in Santa Cruz County. She has been my autistic son's doctor since birth, for 17 years now. (Btw, she is so in demand that the only way for her to be your child's pediatrician is if she is there at their birth). When my son was born he had a brief & very rare occurrence of the "Harlequin effect". No one knew what was going on until Dr Gallagher came in and said "Oh, The Harlequin effect. I've never seen it before, but I've read about it." Then she explained that it would go away on it's own and was nothing to worry about". I was amazed at her wealth of knowledge. I highly recommend her, but as I said, she is only available if she is your baby's doctor at birth.
