Jefferson Park is a gem of a city park. There is plenty of room to space out and not feel crowded. The play area and spray park are great. A few tennis courts and a basketball court as well. I always meet nice people when walking my dog here. The reason it is not a five star review is the public restrooms are closed and have been a long while. This is not a reflection on our parks staff at all, they keep our parks top notch. This is just a reality of cost and so be prepared if you want to spend the day!

I spent a week in Tacoma and two of my grandkids spent a lot of time at Jefferson Park!

Local area park, nice water park for the kids! Tennis and pickle ball, basketball courts and two softball fields. Large grassy areas. Leash and scoop. It really could use a few more benches around the walk arras for seniors..but otherwise great !
