My previous family doctor retired, and I went to Dr. Globus in an effort to find a new long-term family doctor. I am in total disbelief about how poorly managed this office is. I have called this office at least 15-20 times in the last couple months for various reasons and have never had anyone answer the phone or return my calls in a reasonable amount of time. I did finally get an appointment, and went to see Dr. Globus. During the visit, he determined that he wanted an MRI, so I went and got that handled. The results were sent to his office 7 weeks ago, and I still have not heard anything from them. I have tried to contact them, but they NEVER answer the phone, and have not returned my calls. During my visit to the office, I noticed that there are plenty of people at the front desk. As I sat there and watched, the phone ring over and over. The phone was rarely answered, ending with the patient just hanging up. When the phone was answered, the girl picked up the phone, and said 'hold please' and immediately put the patient on hold. Not once did she return to someone on hold and complete their call. I assume that the patients that were on hold finally just hung up. This happened many times while I was in the waiting area. There is no way I can accept this level of disregard for patients (customers) from any business...especially a family doctor. I will keep trying to get my MRI results so that I can take them elsewhere, and then I can be done with this nonsense.
