It's a great FAMILY OWNED business, which sadly is very rare these days. Unfortunately, city leaders couldn't give a damn about a lot of businesses, and the landlord of the building is charging the owners right around $20,000 a month rent !!!... With all of the empty buildings in SF, one would "assume" that the building owner, along with city hall would do everything they could to help out... But I honestly don't see that happening. So what will happen in the very near future is that downtown SF will become more of a ghost town. I very fondly remember taking my nieces and nephews there to buy them a toy of their choice on their birthdays back in the early to mid 90's. The downtown area, and especially around Union Square was bustling with business and was a great place to shop, but not anymore. It is my wish that somehow Jeffrey's somehow keeps going, but the future is dim indeed.
