Jen Kennedy was a great agent for us in our search for a new home on the California Central Coast. Jen made a hugely positive first impression on me. I met her at an open house; she asked what we were looking for and took notes! Jen contacted me that night with some listings that met what I had described. This kind of responsiveness may not sound like a lot but I met a number of agents that weekend and while they generally got back to me days later, they did not remember anything about what we wanted except a house.
My husband and I soon met Jen in person (pre-pandemic) and got even more specific about our desires. She listened and steered us towards Arroyo Grande, which had not been on our radar (we were moving in from another part of California), pointing out its charms and proximity to SLO and observing that house values were generally better than in SLO. Once we found a house in a new development near the Village, Jen helped review contracts, recommended handymen and landscapers and more. And Jen helped us celebrate the day we closed on our new house. Jen was a wonderful part of our team throughout the whole process, and we would recommend her services without hesitation.
We couldn't recommend Jen highly enough to our friends and family and any others that are in the market for a new home. One of the things I appreciated the most about Jen was her ability to adapt to certain situations during the process. Whether it was walking us through step by step or ensuring our repair list was being worked on, she was willing to move, act, and implement whatever the situation called for.
If I had to sum up our experience with Jen to one sentence it would be that Jen is willing to go above and beyond (way beyond) the standard realty process and she's definitely someone you want on your side during such an exciting but also nerve-racking time of buying a home.
