Dr. Flament to has always been a pleasure to work with. It’s a shame that the other reviewer had a bad experience, but I can very assuredly say that I think her experience was an anomaly. Dr. Flament is sometimes hard to get in with because of her popularity, but I’ve always had a great experience receiving care from one of her residents or fellow attendings in the clinic. It’s a busy clinic (as is any family medicine clinic), but Dr. Flement is always very engaged, thoughtful, listens to my concerns and explains thing thoroughly when I have questions. I feel really grateful that I found such a wonderful doctor on the first try after moving to Seattle. I’ve been a RN for nearly a decade and am admittedly a bit picky who I feel comfortable seeing, but I feel confident in Dr. Flament’s care and am impressed by her clinical competence and caring communication.

Went in to get a yearly pap, I have a history of irregular ones and my previous Dr had me getting one every six months and then once a year. Even though I have been with Swedish for three years and have all my information on their system Dr. Flament had not read my chat before coming to the appointment and read trying to go through it while talking to me. She not only refused to give me a pap but don't do a breast exam either because she wanted me to go to see a specialist at the breast center. She did state several times that I should go to a counselor. Naively a waste of my time. She followed up with a phone call and a letter because I hadn't gone to the breast center and told me that she ordered a blood test to see if I still had hpv active in my body. When I went to get the blood test she had actually ordered a pap test which they obviously couldn't do at the lab and was the original reason I had gone to see her in the first place. Waste of time. Doesn't take my concerns seriously.
