His office failed to mention that I should probably arrange for a driver after my bladder biopsy. I wasn’t numbed, sedated, or anything. It was pure torchere. I should have been sedated or at least given some painkillers. Nope. All he does is turn on the soft playing classical music in the room to calm your nerves, which doesn’t work at all. Ordinary appointments never get the music, but the painful torchere appointments apparently do.
And I’m no sissy to pain. I had open heart surgery a few years ago in my mid 30’s. Such an awful and painful experience. His methods are so old school. He recommended sounding therapy (stretching) of my already inflamed and irritated, painful tissues. I immediately started going to a new Doctor and her jaw literally dropped when I told her this. She prescribed me physical therapy instead, which worked wonders. Benz never even bothered with sending me to PT.
