Shouting out Hayden for his amazing attention to detail and customer service! We are regulars here, come in with my wife and daughter atleast once every week or two. Store manager is a great guy as well as his staff. We came in last night and Hayden was the main guy on the line. He made 4 online order sandwiches while also making my 3 subs and started the 2 for the gentlemen behind me. He didn’t mess anything up, he changed his gloves frequently which showed his care for food quality and cleanliness which I love to see after being in the food industry for over ten years. He communicated with us great so we knew what was going on ( they have to prioritize the online orders too ya know!!) Hayden needs a raise or to be considered for management if he isn’t already! I would ignor the negative reviews at this place, been going here for over 8 years and the new staff and management is great! Food is always fresh and great quality!
I've been here several times; my mom has a gluten allergy (not incredibly severe, but still requires GF bread and at least a quick wipe down of the station). They previously were accomodating, but today we went in after church to get a couple sandwiches to bring home. My mother asked for gluten free bread on her sandwich, and the lady behind the counter said, "well you're just going to have to wait, because we only have one slicer." She had a very annoyed tone in her voice, as if my mother chooses to have an allergy that limits what she can eat. Keep in mind, at this time there was only one person in line behind us. My mother felt so bad about what this lady said and how she said it that she ended up not ordering food for herself.
Whoever was slicing the cheese and meats at the Kent Kangley Jersey Mike's on 9/17/23 at 1:30 pm is incredibly unprofessional. We will not be returning to this location, even without my mom. I can eat gluten just fine, but I find it ridiculous and gross that someone would be so rude towards another's allergy. I've worked years in the food industry, including fast food, and I've never see someone take allergies lightly.
I placed an online order and arrived just a couple of minutes after it was due to be ready. I then sat for over 40 minutes, along with 2 other customers that had also placed online orders, before I got my food.
I had to go and push on it a bit or my food might still not have been worked on now.
It's evident to me that although the staff works hard, they do not have a good system on dealing with online orders, as we watched about a dozen people come in to order in person, get their food promptly, and leave, while our tickets sat.
Food quality is fine but they need to work on this flow problem as I am a very patient person but I was about to ask for a refund and leave.
