On July 24, 2019 we signed a $14,000 + contract with this company to install a security, fire, internet, audio, etc. system in a new home. As of today, 7/12/21 the installation is not completed and the security system is not operating (unless they managed to do it in the past 4 hours). In particular the security and fire systems were supposed to have been installed months ago. As of today they still are not operational! Our insurance company is telling us that despite having paid over $30,000 for our insurance, it is not effective because these systems are not installed! Nathan, the owner of the company does not return phone calls. A couple of weeks ago he couldn't be contacted because he was "on vacation." My request that he contact me as soon as possible because our property insurance had become unenforceable and could be cancelled immediately because the security system was not operating were never returned. Emails were never responded to. The work (what has been done) is shoddy, sloppy and incomplete. Nathan sent a "final" bill and wants to be paid right away, but just yesterday our insurance agent again sent a notice that the insurance is not in force and will be cancelled because the security system is not operating. Nathan's company has not completed the installation to the point where the alarm system is monitoring for break-in, panic or fire! This guy can't be trusted or relied on. Again, he won't take phone calls, won't return phone messages and won't return emails. If your goal is to have your property protected, don't use this company! If anything happens to my property and the $30,000 + premiums for insurance that I have already paid for does not cover it, I'll get my attorney involved immediately. I may do that anyway. UPDATE 10/3/2021 After the original review was posted Nathan called on the phone and complained about the review. He didn't seem to understand why I expected to get everything in the contract and his excuse was that he has done dozens of jobs in multi-million dollar houses, knows what he is doing and that is the way the work is done. We exchanged some further emails and I and my general contractor met with him at the job site. We discussed the incomplete work, shoddy work, the missing 28" wiring box, not providing the system drawings and other things in the contract that he hadn't done. He agreed to complete some of the missing wiring, improve the shoddy work and provide the system drawings. He did send some workers out and completed some of the missing wiring. He did not do anything about the missing 28" wiring box, the shoddy work - particularly in the 12" wiring box he used instead of the 28" box, document the concealed wiring locations, provide the system drawings or a lot of the other stuff that he said he would do. In short, he never finished the job he contracted to do, didn't deliver all of the equipment he contracted to deliver, and much of the work he did do is unacceptable.
