This law firm is shoddy at best. I received my settlement check 5 months after the date it was signed. Because I travel extensively I did not deposit the check until 1 month after I received it. They reversed the deposit because it was after the "expiration date" (6 months after issue date) which was not noted on the check. Thus banking more of the settlement money into their account and not the victims.

Filed a claim in March of 2021 for the Bluetec settlement. Uploaded all required documentation. 15 mo later, I hadn’t received payment. I contacted the lawyer who told me to contact JND Legal. I called them and was told they had all of my paperwork and I just needed to be patient. Nothing further to do. In August of this year, I still hadn’t received payment. I tried calling but they are no longer answering the settlement line, so I contacted the lawyer. After months of back and forth, they said JND denies receiving my documents. I provided the confirmation I received. JND denied receiving a “signed” release. I sent the copy of the release I sent them with my signature in March of 2021. I just received a call from Shandy Garr who stated my form was blank (it wasn’t). She said she has been doing this a long time and there would be no reason for them to lie or delete my signature (not sure I accused that - but I am now). She said she called to help me understand and that she had all of my paperwork and it wasn’t signed. I asked her to email me everything I uploaded. After a hesitation, she agreed. She said she would dig up the paperwork and email me. Why dig it up, if you just had it in front of you? Too many complaints with this firm. Where there’s smoke, there’s fire. Either they are incompetent or this is intentional. Either way, it shouldn’t cost class members money. They have refused to pay the $800 I am owed. I have filed a BBB complaint and a complaint with my state’s attorney general’s office.

This company's unethical behavior has not only been deeply troubling but has also resulted in a significant waste of my time and financial loss. Since July 2023, I've spent countless hours calling them, only to be met with silence and incompetence. This prolonged ordeal has caused me to take time away from work, resulting in a loss of income. Moreover, the distress and hardship inflicted by their actions have weighed heavily on me, causing constant worry and fear about my financial future. Each interaction, from speaking with Christian on December 3, 2023, to dealing with Isabell, Heck, and Jaylin later that month, has added to my frustration and anxiety. Despite efforts to escalate the issue through conversations with Marcela on January 24, 2023, and Monique on March 4, 2023, the company's response has been utterly inadequate. Even when a member of the escalation team, Amber, finally reached out, their lack of assistance and abrupt disconnection only exacerbated my distress. This ongoing situation has not only wasted my time but has also caused immense personal and financial hardship, leaving me uncertain and fearful about my future.
