This used to be my go-to store location when I needed sewing supplies and zippers - not a sewist by ANY means, but they always had the perfect range for what I needed for my purposes.
I was seriously disappointed by my visit today. Tons of empty, nearly-empty, or horrifically disorganized shelves; weird selections of out-of-season products; and two employees that I saw in the entire store. The cabinets for sewing patterns were almost all missing labels, which made it take four times longer to figure out that they no longer stock the pattern we were looking for.
Not sure if this is something happening nationwide because of the financial issues they’re having, but it was really surprising to see just how hard this location has been impacted since the last time I visited. I’ll probably try a different location next time, even if it’s less convenient.
