I've always loved Joann's and have been a loyal shopper for years. This is an older location and while they don't have everything that the bigger stores do it's a cute, fun store to visit & with the help of the staff, you can make anything with what they do carry! They recently had a change in management and the new manager is amazing and seems to be inspiring her whole team! -if you've shopped there in the past and been dissatisfied try them again! - the store is reenergized ! -

I was going to purchase a fabric that was not on sale. I had a coupon for 40% off regular priced item, $5 off $35 or more purchase or 25% off your entire order (regular or sale price). I get to checkout and she says the fabric is on sale 25% off so I can't use the 40% off coupon. Scanned every single coupon I had and their system would take none of them. None were expired. My purchase met all their requirements. Cashier made no effort to resolve the situation and contact a manager. I told her this was unacceptable and I no longer wanted to purchase the fabric.
Their service and fabric selection has gone so down hill over the years. Shelves are half empty. Selection of fashion fabrics has gone way down as they focus on crafts and quilting fabric. I need to buy more Kona Cotton in bone color and it's been out of stock at all local stores for weeks.

First off I want to say that I spend ALOT of money at this Joannes for both my small businesses. I’m extremely unhappy with how management handled a purchase I made today. I purchased some thing online in a specific color because the website said that the store did not have the color I actually wanted it in stock. Upon arriving at the store, they in fact, did have the color that I wanted and I asked them if I could exchange the one in store for the one that I purchased for online pick up. They told me no they can’t do that. 🙄 That what I could do is, pick up the online order, RETURN it. And then buy the other color. So I left, as my order took a couple hours to reach the store system and returned once it was ready for pick up. I specifically came in and said I needed to return the online order and purchase the other color with that return money. The cashier canceled my order instead. Not a huge deal if they could have just fixed the issue but she needed to call the manager, the one I had spoken to that morning. Now, since I purchased this item through the Klarna app, I have already paid for it, so I’m not getting an actual refund from Joannes. The manager then says, unless I want to fork out the money again for this item there is nothing she can do and I need to wait for Klarna to refund me which is going to take 7 days, and that’s after Joanne’s has an additional up to 7 days to report to Klarna that the order was in-fact cancelled. So potentially 2 weeks!! I really don’t understand why this had to be so difficult. They could have just let me swap out the colors since it was the exact same item and something that I have done before at this same store. Highly irritated that I wasted time and gas to come back up here and not get the item I purchased, as well as my child is disappointed because this item was for her and now leaving the store for a 2nd time without it. Management saying that swapping colors would mess with inventory was a lame excuses being that the website said they didn’t have anymore of the color I wanted anyway and it was the last one in the store! Make it make sense!! Probably will find a different craft store or another Joannes location to supply my business products going forward.
