I could’ve saved $300 if I went to the dealership. After John Ellis did my initial inspection, I was quoted an astronomical part price over the phone. I called the dealership for a second quote before moving forward with the service. However, when I called John Ellis back, I was talking to someone else who must not have had the correct information, because from my second conversation with them, I understood the price of labor and parts as also including the inspection price as well (what I had already authorized them to do). With the labor, inspection and part all included, it would have been about the same as the dealership. But when I got my bill, I saw that the part was $300 more than what I understood from my conversation over the phone when I authorized the service.
Overall, these guys are nice enough and fairly quick. But go in person when you’re discussing your quote for service, or make sure you’re talking to the same person for continuity. You might save yourself some money.
We use them for both vehicles and they’re always great. Easy to communicate with. They’re there for you when things happen last minute.
My car broke down this week and they took me in same day and fixed everything within 48 hours. 5 star experiences for us!
