The only downside for me was that my son, at 2, is a little too small to just let run and it's very hard to keep an eye on them in the awesome play structure because it's got so much to it! The park has an awesome new water play area as well as the expansive play structure with lots of shady covered parts, and large expanses of grass and paved path ways for free play and wheeled toys.

I took my perfect grandson and my perfect granddaughter to this park the other day and I'm pretty sure that I was the one who wore them out. We played hide and seek tag on the playground and I hid, a lot. I jumped out and scared the heck out of both of my little adrenaline junkies. Even though it was overcast, it was still pretty warm so we then had to try out the water park area. I think we played in the water for over 2 hours. Our pants, socks, shoes and shirts were soaked so thoroughly that instead of soaking the seats in the car, we walked back to my son's. We took a pizza and ate at one of the picnic tables and there wasn't any garbage and I didn't find anything inappropriate which is awesome. The bathrooms needed a little attention (spiders are not my favorite) and I do wish that the toilets didn't sound like they are going to suck up an entire city block at any moment but at least they have them and they weren't locked.

This place is so creative and cute for kids to play in! A thoughtful, caring team put a lot of heart and work into this playground. A pirate ship for kids to play in, adorable drawings of an octopus and dragon. A stage to let kids use their imagination and have fun. Sand pit to play in, swings, a play house and cute splash pad! Definitely worth letting kids play, learn, and explore!
