Zach, Austin, and Cody did a fantastic, detailed job. I just purchased a 1951 home, and it needed a lot of work. I'd taken out permanently affixed shelving units that were almost the complete length of the living room and a lot of scraping, sanding, and patching needed to be done. The home had many layers of paint on the windowsills, and trim around the doors and floor. Many pieces were damaged in places. The doors throughout the home were much the same. I had two outside doors that had been painted purple inside and out. Long story short, there were many imperfections throughout the home.
Johnson Brother's Painting is a relatively young business with a young owner and employees but don't let this hold you back or fool you. I found them to be knowledgeable, experienced, have great work ethic, showed up when they said they would, worked hard all day, detail oriented, and took pride in a job well done.
There were things that I didn't think about ahead of time, like possibly replacing the worn-out thermostat that was barely hanging on the wall. Zach pointed out that if he painted around the old one that there would be a mess if or when I needed to install a new one. Easy inexpensive fix.
Zach the owner continually throughout the project and room by room asked to make sure that I was happy with the job done. I had a cleaning business for many years and am very detail oriented. If I pointed out something Zach was more than willing to add more paint or whatever was needed and welcomed my constructive criticism. He genuinely wanted to make sure that I was happy with the whole project when completed. I am not easy to please, but I couldn't be happier with the completed project.
I wholeheartedly recommend Johnson Brother's Painting should you need interior or exterior painting. I am strongly considering painting the outside of my home and garage and will be contacting Johnson's Brothers Painting for that as well.
I began calling around to different paint companies trying to get advice and tips from professional painters, as I have chosen to paint my house myself. Zach with Johnson Brothers Painting graciously took the time to answer all my questions, and made suggestions for what primer and paint to use, suggestions that I have no doubt helped my project come out so much better than it would have without his knowledge. It is becoming more rare today to find professionals willing to take the time to help out do-it-yourselfers, when they know there is nothing in it for them. Not so with Zach. He even returned one of my calls after hours to answer questions. Although I did not use Johnson Brothers to paint my house, it is clear that Zach is a professional who knows his stuff and has a passion for helping people end up with a successfully painted house, even if he isn't the one doing the painting. If I ever decide to go with a professional painter in the future, my experience with Johnson Brothers Painting has put them at the very top of my list. Thank you Zach!
I got referred to Zach by a co-worker who was very satisfied, I called Zach and he set up a Saturday for him and Austin to come out and talk about painting my house. They both were knowledgeable, had good ideas, and suggestions that I either didn't know or I had overlooked. Zach then sent me a quote that night and they were considerably lower than other bids. They were available right away, got started the following Monday and blew all the work out in just 3 days, and did a superb job!! I figured it would be a week at least to do all the work, as they also grouted & painted the porch and painted 5 man doors, and this house is equivalent to 2 houses in size. As well Zach had the idea if we wanted to replace the mailbox, porch light, garage lights, etc., now was the time. And they installed those things and new locks in every door free of charge. Overall I would not hesitate to hire again or refer to anyone, as they were fast, efficient, punctual, cleaned up very nicely. It turned out Awesome!!
Thanks guys, Justin
